German K98 bayonet

It has come to my attention, that this marker is not an official one (HKZ), is it a fake or just a rare one ?

The bayonet S84/98 is most probably a well done copy or reproduction,minimum the markings on blade is not origin, frog looks like origin with missing upper rivets.b.r.Andy

It is a fake. The code "hkz" is not known on any bayonet manufactured during the Third Reich. According to John Walter's book on German codes page 66, the code "hkz" belonged to Arado-Flugzeugwerke GmbH, which I would imagine was more concerned with making aircraft related items rather than bayonets. Someone else may have more to add.

Ignore the codes, just look on how it is stamped. Totally fake IMO
