WKC Lions head sword marked w/ silver eagle- opinions wanted!

Hi all,

I was just offered this lions headed WKC marked sword and was wondering what you all thought (sorry for poor quality photos). The sword has a silver eagle on the handguard, is marked WKC on the lower section of the blade (blade is not engraved otherwise) and appears to be in good condition with scabbard.

If anyone could let me know what variation of sword this is and what a reasonable price would be I would be very grateful! I am unsure if the silver eagle has any significance or if it is just a design.
