Beautiful Polizei bayonet, as stated, a nice original. I'm curious too if it also has the matching numbered scabbard.

The crossguard marking is an unusual one which I've never seen before. The "P" typically has a connotation with a Polizeischule, as distinguished from the "S" marking denoting "Schutzpolizei" or "L" denoting "Landjägerei".

Would be very curious to see what Joe Wotka thinks of the mark & if he's seen it before.
