Portapee ID Needed

Dear friends of the portapee and dress knots of the German military, a friend of mine acquired this 3R police bayonet this week and he sent me some pics. So, I had to give him the bad news as you will see on what he purchased. Wrong scabbard, GI cut down etc. Interesting though was the knot!!! I can't seem to locate it in any reference books. So here are some pics, maybe, just maybe the knot might be the saving grace to this piece you might as well butter your toast with. Thanks in advance, and as always best wishes,

Looks imilar to knots that have been attributed as a DRK hewer knot. Never seen this exact configuration before, it's quite interesting.

Scabbard and frog looks like a normal S84/98 possible with black paint, so the police bayonet blade was probably shortened like You mentioned by GIs? b.r.Andy

I too was thinking Bavarian. Light blue and white are the state colors.
