Rare Distributor Walks Into Allentown Show

I know I don't post pics that much, but I thought the etchperts out there would like to see this Distributor Mark that was a walk in/pick up at the Allentown Gun Show this past weekend. Yes I know the Eickhorn Nr. 3219 is the most common of all the Eickhorn patterns but this piece had to come home with me. First of all, it's the first Eickhorn stag handle etched bayonet I've had the opportunity to get at a reasonable price and secondly I've never seen this Distributor Mark before. It's in Wayne's book so it's legitimate. So I thought I would take the opportunity to share and see how many bayonet collectors have run across the "MILITARWARENHAUS DURBECK WIEN IX" Distributor Mark and how many are out there. Good luck to all you guys headed to the SOS!!
    Best wishes,

    Mat J

Nice looking bayo ! although i am not an etchpert. I used to own a Holler army with this distributor mark and still own this visor.

          Nice, Mat:

It's like a triple threat... short blade, stag grips and a hard-to-find distributor. I think you lucked out here.

          Cheers,

          John

                Thanks

Thanks for all the information on this distributor. By the looks of things this was a very well rounded distributor. Again, would like to see how many etched bayonets are out there with this distributor mark. Not a great time to post as I expect a good portion of the WAF members are on their way to Louisville KY for the SOS. Thanks again,

                Mat J
