Red Cross Leader's Dagger Opinions???

Hello, I am asking for some advice for a friend on this Red Cross Leader's dagger as to whether or not it is authentic. The surface "cracks" are not like any her has seen. Crossgraining is very good on the blade. Any help or advice would be appreciated. Thank in advance!

I agree, looks like a correct DRK leader to me. A shame about the crossguard cracks, replacements are near impossible to find.

A good thing the crack is on the back but you would have to be very careful or you could end up with a damaged dagger with little value.

Too much cracking to this piece............I would pass on this one IMO.
