Hi All,
I recently came across an SS dagger in my grandparent's attic. My grandfather was an infantryman in the Rhineland during WWII and must've brought this back with him. The blade is acid etched with “Meine Ehre Heisst Treue” and additional proof markings include RZM/188/36/SS. My research on the maker of this blade has come up empty, with every reference I have come across listing this as an "unknown" contract maker. Does anybody have additional insight?
Thanks in advance.
