    Fake Double Etched Luftwaffe Dagger?

    Does anyone know if this is a fake Double Etched Luftwaffe Dagger? Any opinions? Thanks!

    Probably is, that etch is commonly found on fakes, though in his book TW does state that though the etch pattern was used during the TR it is very rarely encountered as a genuine period etch.

      The Jimmy Durante nose on the eagle is usually a telltale sign of a postwar etched blade.

              In addition, the bottom of the swas running off/being cut off from the bottom of the etch is NEVER a good sign.
