    Hi folks. Can anyone identify the frogs initials of my mint Ausgegseitengewehr?

      Its a service bayonet frog, probably dated 1937,it should be attached on a S84/98 not here.b.r.Andy

        Non-regular nickel plating on scabbard.
        IMO, post ´45 made.

            No way, as Reibert mentioned Your scabbard was nickeled or chromed postwar,should be blued or black painted. The frog is a service unit marked prewar piece, should be with S code bayonet or 37 dated together. b.r.Andy

              Thank all of you guys for helping me with it. The scabbard modification sucks but the unit stamped frog is unique IMO. I have never seen a similar example. And the unit fought nearly everywhere between 1939 and 1945.
