    engraved SS sword

    Dedicated SS Obersturmbannfuhrer Sword do not know if i have ever seen SS sword marked Ernst Pack and Sohne? lenght 34.5 inches blade 29.25 inches
    anyone seen one like this before?

                    I could be wrong and hope I am but I believe that EP&S maker mark is the questionable one. I believe the known wartime one is the one without the hammer's top showing. Let's see what others have to say.

                      IMHO Jeff, Your not wrong. Not only the E-Pack logo is wrong, but so is the blade etch work. (BTW, I can't even recall E-pack being a SS Officer Degen maker.)
                      IMO, so is the Knot. and IMHO so is the placement of the Grip runes. It's also MHO, that the whole sword is a put-together from parts, probably most fake. However, perhaps the scabbard is original, but not sure on that either.

                      I also would like to hear from other guys and see what they say.
