An interesting Enlisted Man's Troddel. An Army (HEER) Troddel of this type would be all green to include the strap and would indicate an EM attachment to Regimental Staff. The early Polizei also wore a Troddel identical to the all green Heer Regiments-stab Troddel. This appears to be an early SS-Verfugungstruppe or Waffen-SS Troddel for Regimental Staff since it has this style of strap.

I know of no existing regulations for these early W-SS Troddelen but original examples do exist. I have not seen an example of your Troddel but it looks proper from what I can see. One note of caution is that these W-SS knots have been reproduced.

I too have never seen this particular combination on an SS troddel but that, in itself, doesn't mean it's bad.

The knot does seem to have been placed on the frog more recently than 1945. My question, rhetorical in nature is, why would a very early configuration knot be on a relatively late production bayonet?

Maybe he get on end of the war a new one, or he do it after the war?
It is no expirienc to change a tordel or portepee.......
