SS Dagger for review

What are your opinions regarding authenticity of the following SS Dagger?

Welcome to the dagger forum of WAF.

I seen that, and from my opinion it's a original dagger that looks restored. Unfortunately it also looks to me like the blade been polished, sharpened and retipped.

JMO, However, others may see different.

I had suspected some blade work had been done due to the noticeable scratch patterns. Although this dagger undoubtedly has some restoration, I'm hopeful that it was a good buy. I'll know more next week when I receive it.

I've just recently picked up ww2 era militaria as a hobby and this was my first edged weapon purchase.

I really appreciate the response and insight!
