2nd Model LW, etched. Opinions needed.

Here are photos of a 2nd Model LW Dagger that is being offered to me. To my untrained eye the etching looks good. Your opinions are greatly appreciated since I would surely hate to waste $1200.

Thanks Don,

That's the kind of advice I'm seeking, advice that saves me money. Now that I look at the eagle on the blade, it does look pretty crude. Is that one of the give-aways?

Looks like I was right on your prevoius post. That is a poor fake, the bird has a grave illness.

the dagger parts looks good , without the blade and etching-there are not period.

The etching looks badly done, (look at the line near the cross guard) and the blade has a flat edge instead of being more rounded. Save the dosh!
