Except for the chip in the grip, it dosen't look bad.

Hmmm.
WKC scabbard. Eick pommel. Grip wire is not typical but sometimes seen on an Eick... The top of the crossguard would be required, for me, to identify the maker. Perhaps a late war example...
Not one I would spend much on....

Also would back Pauls call on this one.. WKC and Eick swapped parts sometimes but seen more on Heers.. if this is indeed an Eick blade, I would have to see the throat screw configuration to assess the possibility of this being an original to the piece scabbard. Kevin.
