Hey Kevin...good to hear from you! Things are a bit tough right now due to some family health issues. Part of life.
Anyway....you think the Puma is post war? Perhaps someone knows or has reference to whose name is mentioned on the ricasso?

      Kevin,

Since you like 'stickers' here's a damascus Bowie with a stage grip, nickle silver and a bit of engraving. This knife won me 'Best New Knife maker of the Year' at the American Edge Collectors Association annual show in 1996.
      Enjoy!

The engraving was done at a later date by my friend Fred Bowen. He's an engravers guild member.

          Tony,
That's a beautiful knife. I like that style of German bowie. In fact
I have an old Solingren made stag handled knife of my own. Similar
          blade shape as yours.

          Again---Beautiful.

            Thanks Greg!
I have a soft spot for Bowie knives.

That is a real beauty Tony!! Blade is really something and your stag grip is beautifly done! Your friend really set it off with the engraving too.. I would love to be able to make blades like this! Best, Kevin

                  Kevin,
A labor of love. I know it may sound silly but that's how it is. Made my first knife in 1979. Been at it since then. Knife making is relatively easy. It just takes learning from your mistakes.
