Looks like a legitimate later version of Type 2 chained dagger. I can't tell if the blade has been sharpened, towards the top 1/3 from the tip.

Has a nice unmessed 'honest but salty' look.

That chain has been on there since the dagger left the factory.

As noted earlier, my only concern is if the blade been sharpened.
