Luftwaffe 1st with Damascus blade

Well I'll put it this way, same seller has a fake SS helmet so my best quess is that this one is bad to. I have searched for Alcos etches but cant find any references on damast or damascus blades on 1st pattern LW daggers.

Grip wire is not Alcoso Solingen type for the 1 model of Luftwaffe dagger, and portepee is post war.

That being said, Schlange, I have seen Alcoso Damascus blades on Heers and on Luft2s. In fact, one such with the late AWS trademark is pictured in Wittmans`s Luftwaffe book on page 304.

There is also a picture on pages 124-5 of an Alcoso Damascus bladed Luftwaffe sword.

Blade is not even damascus..... They did also make original 1st model Luft Alcoso damascus daggers but this is not one of them..
The pattern has been etched on to look sort of like damascus..

Can you show us the eagle mid blade?

I might but that depends on wheter the seller has any items that are genuine so I'll have reason to do the 3hour trip to take som good photos.
