Need Expert Opinion on this SS Degen

Newbie here. I picked this up from a collector I have a few previous dealings with. He didn't guarantee anything but I've had good stuff from him in the past. Is it any good?

I guess he's got a good scam--sell me one good piece to bait me into believing the rest of his stuff is good, too.

I do have that book actually. Going to be putting some hours into it before I buy anything else.

My total loss wasn't terrible. 3/4 of the pieces are junk but all priced low enough that the real one made up for 2 of the fakes.

Use the estand on this forum.It will, give you an idea of the value of items before buying.Also if there are questions of originality members tend too point them out.

You could also ask dealer or. Other if you could post pictures of items you are considering on this forum for opinions.

Also , look on other collectors sites of similar items for comparison
