Whittmann Example
For what it's worth, I knew I've seen one of these for sale on another dealer's site. And sure enough if someone would like to inspect the last example on Tom Whittman's etched bayonet page, you'll see the exact piece that is indeed WKC maker marked. From what I can see its identical. But I'll let everyone else be the judge. Alway's scares me when a piece doesn't have a makers mark. When producing such a fine piece, come on, how hard is it stamp the firms name. But thats just me. Also resale value hurts IMHO. All in all looks legit, and would be a fine piece in anyone's collection especially when we all know double etched pieces are all but drying up. Whittmann's sticker shock is a testament. Ha Ha! Just kidding, just a little. Hope this helps, and as always, happy collecting!!
