    SA dagger blade engraving opnion please

    I think that this is etching?
    Definitely looks newer than the RZM code.

      I can't really tell if it's engraving versus etching myself from the image, and no offense intended, but a single not good quality image to use in making a judgment is not enough. Some better quality photos including some of the complete dagger (unless it's just a blade) will help. FP

        it seems to float on top of the runner marks...not good imo

          Hi Rob,

          In looking at the lettering of this inscription, it appears to me that the font used is of English Blackletter -- both upper and lower case -- and not the normal German Fraktur font. Compare the lettering of this inscription to the "Alles für Deutschland" normally seen on the obverse of SA blades. Google "Fraktur" for more detailed examples of the German font.
