Dagger 1196/38 SS

Here's a 1196/1138. It seems that this is the RZM code from an unknown manufacturer but the whole is homogeneous and appears period. What do you think?
The photo of the inside of the handle with the staples of the eagle is a bit murky because it's very difficult to photograph but the two staples are present.

does anyone know if this is a good dagger?

This dagger is good and appears to be un-messed with. These are regarded as manufactured by Ed Wusthof as the have some unique characteristics common to their RZM and early SA daggers. The most notable is the motto pattern which I've only ever observed on this maker which are easily noted by the hooked flourish on the E of Ehre amongst other features. The maker mark style is also unique and in a similar format to the SA counterpart by this maker.

Also, these usually have aluminium cross guards, another feature seldom encountered on other SS makers. You often see the runes tone to the copper base on these, sometimes even the eagle.The scabbard fittings also match to other examples by this maker, so all in, you appear to have a nice clean example there.

I can't speak for the rest of the dagger but the grip appears to be a replacement as the the fit is bad and the eagle has most definitely been replaced.

Thank you for your opinion.
What is certain is that she had not been removed for a long time I struggled to unscrew the nut inside the pommel and the guard was all oxidized (like the pictures ). There was also dust. I leave everything in place for that matter, I do not clean.
Regarding the eagle, the mounting clips are present inside the handle and there is no visible trace on the holes in the handle which suggests a winding eagle. There is so little space in that little hole that intervention even with a small tool soon would leave a visible trace.
I tried to photograph the inside of the handle but it is very difficult.
It is true that there is a splinter beneath the right wing but the handle is impacted on the left side, there are four stripes on wood that extend from the left of the eagle. Perhaps this shock he blew a piece of wood on the other side? The ebony is quite brittle.
Expect other opinions?
