Hello, i believe Frogprince is correct on it, looks like good piece, i coulnt estimate the production date. The bayonet is a early prewar Hoerster made , the scabbard is probably 9160 and should be with doubble letter range gg-kk area. not see through the frog. 44sgx is not the collector name for grey ghost as the total production was phosphated already. but should be serialed to a 44sgx red plastic riveted grip bayonet.b.r.Andy

Yes there are 2 letters down there hard to see, yes possible KK
