I have a question about a RAD leader dagger maker Gottlieb Hammesfahr, Solingen. Is it a known maker for RAD leader daggers. If yes is it a rare maker. Is it possible to show one or more RAD leader daggers with this maker.

Now, I got the RAD Leader Dagger, he has a nice Patina. What kind of material was the dagger and the scabbard made. Opinions welcome.

I have a Rad enlisted dagger with the same maker, not sure if Hammesfarh are any more common on the enlisted Rad dagger?

I like this piece, too -- the RAD Leader is one of my favorite TR dagger designs, given it's Art Deco style! You'll need to look for a set of leather hangers to complete the set!

Hi, thanks for your Kind comment, but the dagger comes with the leather hangers.

A very nice dagger and fine pair of hangers. I think the fittings were made from a zinc based alloy and then plated? About the same as they made the hilts of mid period to late HJ knives. Scabbard probably from sheet steel and then plated.
