    Land Marine Dirk for Review

Hi. Can anyone tell me if this dirk existed during WW2? I have seen it listed in F.J. Stephens book of German Daggers. Also, if you think that it is original.
    Thanks in advance.
    Regards
    John

From my Point of view it is not an original dagger.

          I agree.
Etching on blade is certainly not the E-pack type.

Is that the one from parade antiques? If it is i emailed them about its authenticity just out of curiosity and they told me it was authentic, couldn't say myself though. On germandaggers site if you go to reference galleries and then verns reference galleries and click on 3rd model they say there are three makers Puma, Horster, and Pack as being accepted makers. Its all a bit confusing you don't know what to believe.

Don't think you looked on same page as me Paul, its at the end of the write up about it. Make sure you go to Verns reference galleries.

I've been to the shop a few times and (IMO) the seller has a bit of a Fantasy Land vibe going on with a lot of his III Reich stuff.
