Very nice, love the cases, IMO blade out is the best way to display, saves all that wear and tear. I assume they have all been treated with Renovation Wax so as to protect them from condensation.

Yes you have to show those blades!! Or all that crossgraining is for nothing!! I actually used Semichrome Polish. They come out awesome!

Don't do that. The "awesome" is short lived and those cleaned blades can be spotted from a distance,

I don't sit n polish them everyday! I put a light coat on them when I first purchased them. N that's it. Going on 6-10 years!

Can anyone tell me what's wrong with cleaning the blades, isn't it just looking after them?

I read as long as u don't use a super abrasive polish it's ok to put a coat on the blade and that's it. Don't mess w any of the other parts that probably have a nice patina finish. I read Semichrome polish was suggested so that's what I used. Cleaning is personal preference. Some say do, some say don't!

Best to use Renwax on your blades

forget semichrome unless its really needed to clean a dirt engrained blade !

                    lovely collection, very nicely displayed
