    Nice Kriegsmarine dagger

    Hi Gents,
I have found this nice Km dagger. I know it is quit shame about the handle, but otherwise , it seems to be in perfect condition. There is nice blade from both sides. I am Lufty collector , so this one doesnt fit to my collection and I have decided to sell it . But , .. plase, what could be fair price for this one ? Please , let me know, many thanks . Is it rare or special , or just odinary km dagger ? Many thanks !

Nice, early Horster. I see that no parts were replaced.
Although not in the best condition, still worth about 600-700$

And it was a good price, congrats to the buyer.
I think that early Horster is a bit less common than standard WKC.
Fresh grip crack is a problem, I agree but small scabbard dents are not a very large defects. Just look at the upper scabbard eyelet, this dagger is a real "war horse"
          Nice piece of history here.

Yes its a nice honest dagger which I would happily put on my wall
I suggest it's put in estand at $800 and see what offers come in

The pommel is facing the wrong way. The grip has probably been cracked by some cretin over tightening it to get it 180 degrees out of line. That is unfortunate. The scabbard looks to be a Holler and not a Horster product. Nice blade and the sailing ship etch is much less seen on a Horster blade.
