I landed in the UK at 10 this morning after 32 hours without sleep coming back from a disappointing trip to the USA. All I found on my travels there was one beat up SA and a ground Rohm Eickhorn NSKK which was horribly over priced. 10 minutes in the Brecon Militaria Fair and I picked up this nice PUMA for the princely sum of £375 which I thought was good. Nice honest SA with great fit. You see quite a few of these early pieces that have been painted over the anodized scabbard, I guess when the new painted scabbards came out and these initial production pieces where showing some wear, the owners decided to "spruce them up"! Unless that is lacquer? Nice find, Kevin.Comment
