My wonder is why there is a date (1937) in the middle of a regimental number..

It should be LW piece, most real a III.Gruppe , Kampf Geschwader 255 marked piece, year and company nr.1. Maker is most real. Aug.Klopper Berlin 1937. Probably somewhere wiht LBA marking could be too stamped.

but my question is: why is there stamped "1937 H.Kp.1"? Why a date inside a regimental number?
the producer marking and date is stamped above..as usual..
