Hello, I posted this too the Imperial section, and really only got the Model number.
I think it is a reproduction, I actually did not even know they were reproducing these, but it has the makers name on it and the reproductions I have seen had no makers mark. I bought this along with several others to help a friend who's father is in Hospice and he is dying, we are trying to come up with the money to pay for his burial. But I do not want to mislead any one I end up selling it too.
I need help and I need it bad, if this is good, I think it would be a $450 to $600 bayonet, if not it is junk. Thanks to all that respond.

Certainly a problematic piece, the bayonet could be origin S98naS, made by PDL, problem is the blueing which is not proper same as not corect grips and probably press button, by normal army accepted piece it should be proofed on spine, the scabbard is probably totaly new made, new leather, the upper metal part is of brazilian production FI, so not a good piece. best regards,AndyComment
