I am thinking of getting this, I just want to make sure the scabbard and hanger are original. The scabbard looks super nice, so it just worried me a little bit.

The scabbard and hanger don't concern me as much as seeing them paired with a dagger with a Gau marked nickel-silver lower cross guard and aluminum eagle. More photos are needed for sure.Alitur vitium vivitque tegendo -
This dagger is a mix of parts IMO. Scabbard w/ hanger and grip are for an RZM S/A not a maker mkd. such is the case with this one.Comment

I must agree with our colleagues. Even though you have not shown us the blade of this piece -- which may tell an even more different story than what we can see -- this is definitely a parts dagger (known as a 'Frankenstein' in the hobby) and should not be considered for purchase for a serious collection.
