SS Bayonet

Hi guys,
I fell for one of these bayonets when I was in 7th grade and that was in 1976-1977. At the time I paid almost $40 for it. I bought it at a local gunshow. I then sold it to a kid when I was in high school. If I remember correctly, the plating had a tendancy to lift around the engraved portion.

I was kinda cool to see one again after all of these years. Too bad the individual bought it.

Here is one that I have similar to yours. These were done back in the Late 60s as far as I know. I got mine for $20.00 as a curiousity.
