It's hard to tell the exact condition of the blade due to the poor pics, however from what I can see it looks pretty good. Shame about the split in the grip.
You are correct...this is a rare maker so at $375 I would buy it....although I am a sucker for SA's!!

a good carpenter probably could fix the crack for you, at least make it less visuable.Comment

Looks to be an untouched piece that shows some honest wear and age. If you
need one for your collection, you can't go wrong @ $375.00
