Kriegsmarine K98 bayonet opinions please

Hi.

I would really appreciate your opinions on this KM K98. Anyone know what type of frog this is (it does not have a KM mark). The scabbard looks like it has been heated up since the metal has a blue colour.

Please let me know if you need more or better pictures.

Looks like correct KM piece from Coppel, the frog could be early one or for police SG frog, any stamps there? , unfortunally the blade was cleaned from blueing and some heating was done on scabbard, most real in lower part there is a black paint. best regards,Andy

I agree, original piece.
Nice KM bayonets with matching numbers are very hard to find now.

I don't think there are any markings on the frog. The owner can't seem to find any.

Nice original navy bayonet now you need a navy frog

Nice one :-) Nordsee is my favorite of the two ;-) look carefully for the eagle over M on the frog. It may still be there. I have several where it is very difficult to see the stamp.
