I don’t believe this is an original Voos maker mark ? Never seen this mark on an army before.

Thank you for all your opinions.
I was offered this dagger for a reasonable price. I have only a small number of photos provided by the seller.

I bought one as a fake with this MM. It looked very convinsing. Just a bit crude made.

Rheingold are you thinking of this maker mark? I would like to see an example of the maker mark posted by Dr. Vet on another army or any other dagger for that matter. I’m not convinced yet I am not a maker mark collector but don’t think this is a period Voos mark I could be wrong. I’m keeping an open mind but let’s see some evidence this is a period mark.

What I do like is the positioning of the maker mark and the blade looks to be nickel plated. Would love to see the tang.

According to my knowledge, the voos company has 4 different TM's.Here is also a link from one of my german fellows.

That does not make it original...

The tang looked good on the copy I had. Juster as a later made armydagger.

Personally I am not getting a warm fuzzy feeling by the mark shown on HeersDolch …… looking forward to more posts on this topic.

I think I have seen this mark on HJ knives before. I thought this was a "Voss" mark.
