Hello Everyone. I purchased some items today from the son of a vet and this HJ knife is one of them. The diamond looks sort of funny to me and has no movement. Could I please get some thought on it? Thanks BDM

Hi BDM,


Your hj knife maker is Gustav Voss which is a rare maker !

Bad news is the diamond has been replaced with the bigger sized diamond !

Should origionally be fitted with the smaller diamond in this early knife.

So the larger diamond has been jammed into place & most likely the sides of the griplate diamond recess & the diamond edges has been altered to fit the larger diamond insignia.
