    KM Beampte Hangers

    Hello dagger forum members.

    I hope you don't mind me asking if anyone has seen Km dagger hangers without the attacking ring for the small chain please.

    Received this item today. I hope the additional pictures along with my research will help with some comments please. Not exactly my strength in this area.

    All aluminum hardware, except the eyelets. I'm uncertain why the absence of the small ring for the missing chain? No indication whatsoever of ever having the ring removed by grinding etc.
    Furthermore, as if it would really matter but in some cases, nothing fluoresces under ultra violet rays

    Thank you for looking.

            Hi Ray,
            Original hangers
            Missing ring and chain are typical for kriegsmarine period, simply was not used and therefore often removed.

            Regards
            Jakub

              Dr. Vet;

              Thank you for your comments and taking the time to reply. Never really understood the purpose of that chain, but would suspect to minimize the dagger from excessive movement when in motion such as walking or as a secondary security chain in any event?
