    Cof 44 bayonet , rough crafted or ??????

    Hi
    Is this Cof 44 bayonet very rough crafted , or just destroyd with a grinder
    The egde looks straight ??

      Although K98 bayonet manufactured by Carl Eickhorn during 1944, have a very rough finish, I think that is your bayonet re-blued.
      (V series of Cof 44 K98 is quite rare.)

            Okay ! The grinding on the tip , is that post war ,or. Manufactur made ?

              When the edge is blunt, and the rough finish continous normally on all blade area, so it could be ok, i personally could not tell about blueing, as the photos are done by not natural light probably, when You made better photos it could be then say more about blueing, the grips could be replacements as in the range were reported only red plastic grips. The V range is certainly not rare.
