    re: 1st Luft on estand

Is anyone else concerned that the scabbard on this dagger may have been recovered?

We seem to accept restoration and repair to Every antique item apart from WW2 memorabilia. By the same token we expect the WW2 item to look as if it was made yesterday!!

The buyer has to satisfy himself that he is happy with the purchase. I would surmise from looking at the photos posted that the colour of the leather and wear and tear is inconsistent. That does not however detract from it being a genuine period item in a condition that reflects its age.

The best method as always is a hands on inspection. I personally accept photos as a good starting point but technology and photoshop are very good tools !!!

    Happy Collecting

On the dagger scabbard, some screws was replaced.
Also, connections of dagger grip with pommel looks a bit strange.
Personally, these one dagger is not in my taste.
