    Eickhorn sword opinions

    Hi before they remove this thread could I have some opinions. A member pmd me and said this was a parts piece. do some of you others concur?

    It is not in the Eickhorn catolouge an appears to be part # 1710 (Blucher) cross guard with a #1734 (Zeiten) lionhead and back strap.
    I for one just don't like the way the screw in the hilt hasn't been finished.
    Though I have seen some strange Eickhorn's over the years, IMO it's a late parts sword put together to sell to GI's after the war. JMO.
