Hitler Youth leader dagger with Damascus blade

Hello all,

I don't have the knowledge with these to say one way or the other so I thought I would post for review. I have never handled a Damascus blade and don't know what to look for in these. Any opinions on this HJ honor dagger for me? Blade is marked ECHT DAMAST on it.

It maybe real damascus, but made in India.

Bad one. It lacks the details of original "common" HJ leader daggers.

I have seen these fakes before, some with spurious TMs'. I personally do not believe that there was a period "Marine HJ Leader's" dirk, let alone this horrible damascus piece. Jmho!
