To your question of these hangers being Textbook I would have to say: not exactly. The buckle, the slide and the pull up clips are textbook correct, the leather straps have 4 stitching lines but the upper clip is not the standard configuration reflected in publications. It is hard to tell if this could be just a variant assembly for whatever reason, but I would not dismiss it as a fake. In wear the upper clip is usually not visible anyway. Of course, some textbook pedant might have other ideas.

I have seen this style before and not the "normal" type, but I believe are period. There were a lot of variations in hanger construction.
