    Water customs dagger??

I picked up few daggers from a vet's family. First model luft., army dagger, and this "water customs dagger". In Johnson's book you see the picture with this dagger with same mark on the blade. It came in army scabbard. So what you guys think about it?

These type of blade, with Luftwaffe control stamp was also used by Weyersberg Solingen 2. model Luftwaffe dagger.
Custom daggers are not my area of interest, but I have to admit that this piece looks very strange, especially with the addition of Eickhorn second type of Heer dagger scabbard.

No this is not anything like the Milestone Land Customs dagger.

                    1. as noted by Schlange above on the blade and scabbard.
                    2. the ferrule is Army
                    3. The pommel looks like a bad Army pommel
                    4. Grip looks redyed.
                    5. The parts don't even align.

It's 'Parts Junk Dagger' in my view. -Sorry-

I have seen the occasional Land Customs dagger in an Army scabbard before & who is to say it didn't come like that from the period?

That said, this dagger is definitely not one of those otherwise correct looking examples. Wagner beat me to the punch, as usual. The parts don't match in terms of fit & finish which is always a bad sign. The Army pommel doesn't look like it's period done, way too little detail. I thought the crossguard was a cast reproduction but it might just be a degraded conditioned original. Too many red flags to start counting, the piece has the look of unoriginality to it & should be sold for parts or as an outright repro. Sorry man.

Compare the details with this Water Customs Dagger. I agree with what the guys said above.
