    THOUGHTS PLEASE ON THIS W'BERG NON-ROSTFREI TAKE-DOWN MODEL, GENTS. LOOKS FINE TO ME THO I NOTICE A LITTLE BLUE'S 'SPILLED' ON TO THE BLADE.
    # BY THE LEVER IS 7, SPIKE IS 5 not had it apart

            Please send the seller some string paper labels.
            A disgusting way to inventory a scarce edged weapon.

            Other than that, it's a nice late Weyersberg.

                Looks like a good one to me. Will the inventory(?) number come off easily without blade damage? Maybe some members can give advice on how to safely clean the blade. Still, a really nice take-down Weyersberg. Congrats!

                  thanks I was thinking of wenol, oooo-grade steel wool, wd-40 or some silicone formulation but the grain's so fine on these I'm worried about rubbing it out. the markings are felt tip pen. all advice appreciated!

                    Acetone on a cotton swab will easily remove the inventory writing on the blade.
