    SA Hangers for review.

These were sold as unissued hangers. I don't know enough about them to be able to tell. They almost look to good to be true. Any thoughts would be appreciated!!
    Thanks,
    Tony

      Hi Tony,

Both hangers appear to be genuine to the period, IMO. The older piece, by a year or two, is the brown one on the right of the two together, bearing the mark of hardware manufacturer Overhoff & Cie of Lüdenscheid -- O/C-- on the clip. The other piece is slightly later and was made by the widely-noted firm of F.W. Assmann & Söhne, also of Lüdenscheid. The elder piece appears to be of brown leather, which would normally indicate SA or early NSKK, and the later piece looks like it could be black leather, which would mean SS or later NSKK.

Hope this opinion is helpful to you. Both very nice hangers.

The Black SS hanger is real nice. I have one just like it but not near as good condition. Do you see any markings in the leather?
