Blade is a fake. Poor etch of the TM and a wrong motto pattern.
That's the well known F Herder motto pattern.

I have an identical dagger good original fitting but what i assumed was a fake blade
i will try and find it and post photos
if i remember the tang ,and shoulder, on mine are perfect with a drop forged seam

That's right Nick. I still remember a Röhm blade with a perfect tang.
