My Dagger collection and a question...

Just wanted to show pics of my dagger collection. Had them out to put in displays instead of a cabinet, so snapped pics of them.

Here is an overview shot of my blades:

Question: is the WKC a slant grip? I took a closeup of the handle.

    Thanks for looking!

            Yes, slant grip.
It looks like the transition between WKC Heer dagger type 1.5 and type 2. type of crossgard.

The WKC is not a slant grip. It is a nice early dagger though with a WKC Type-2 crossguard.

You may as well show the bayo's too...especially if they match, and the leather markings,.... we have bayo freaks here that eat that stuff up as eye candy. Nice start..keep adding to when you can score.

Yes of course they are all matching [emoji41]

I will start a separate thread for the bayonets.

Nice daggers Brobs. I like the type 2 WKC..is it the earlier brass based version? Like your Pack Luft too. The type "B" grip is nice on the Tiger, least seen grip type! Kevin.

what all on the WKC would be based in brass? I tried a magnet on the scabbard toward the tip while the blade was out, and it barely stuck to it.. but I wonder if the steel guides inside would have an effect??

Does anyone have a picture of a slant grip WKC grip to compare? This one sure seems to have slants to me.. I guess I don't know what I'm looking for? What exactly defines "slant grip" ?

Sorry for the questions I just would like to know for my own knowledge.

I really like the Tiger as well.. not just the grip but the blade is perfect, and the patina is so perfectly even and dark all over, you can really tell that this one was never cleaned or polished in any way!

                              Thanks for the compliments.
