Lion Head Sword Authentic?

I want to buy this lion's head sword by Alcoso from SV Militaria for $465, but I don't know much about edged weapons.

Do you think this one is good?

It appears to be original IMO.

It looks like Alcoso Solingen Leopard Head Heer sabre, model 119.
What puzzles me - is a ferrule, whose condition is quite different from the state of the rest of the sabre.

Correct, it is a Alcoso #119.Very common lion head sword, but a fair price in todays market.

The saber itself looks OK, the ferule appears to be zinc, so I'm wondering it this might not be a transitional piece from when they were discontinuing using copper based alloys? FP

The ferrel is probably iron and can be verified with a magnet. Alcoso was known to use iron fittings on occassion.
