German bayonet frog - need ID

Early german bayonet frog. MM - Bad.Leder & Lieder, Warenfabrik G.M.B.H., Weisloch 19...
Rare producer, brass rivets, brown leather...but I pretty sure it's not for 98k bayo.
S84/95 or S84/98? Next to the standard version for 98k

Another stamp is F.A.R.14. Firs letter is not "E" so it's not Ersatz Artillerie Regiment :-) Leather now is brown, but frog was dugged, and as You can see, it was blackened in past.

normally the F would be not added when is Feld Artillery Regiment, it could too Fuss Art.Regt. or Festung Art.Regt.

            Hello

It is a WWI frog for a german 98/05 bayonet. F.A.R. is for for Feld Artillerie Regiment.
            Andy, Fuss Art.Regt is A.F.

            Regards

                Hello,

                F.A.R. is a Fuß-Artillerie-Regiment.

                Feldartillierie is only stamped A.R.

                Regards

In the 1909 edition of the Prussian Handbook for Weapons Markings "A.F." appears to be the recommendation for the Foot Artillery. With the Regimental Number and an "A." for the field regiments other than the Garde-Feld Artillerie etc. Which is not to say that the rules were always followed - such as exceptions or perhaps even a later edition that superseded earlier ones.
