I asked for an unknown pattern fighting knife.

Day´s ago I received another, different pattern, knife, I´m asking for provenience.


overall lenght: 358 mm
blade lenght: 237 mm

lenght of the sheath: 445 mm !


Maybe some of you guy´s can help ?

OK, ...

Day´s ago a collector´s mate told me, this pattern knife is a "mine detecting" knife, ("minesweeper(s)" -knife), used in the 50´s/60´s in former Yugoslavia.

IMO my knife is converted to a fighting knife due sharpening the, (former), dull blade and was carried in the Yugoslav civil war, (1991 till 1995).

Yugoslavian civil war was never happened in 1991 - 1995 period.

Otherwise, this knife is the ancestor of Bratsvo from Ohrid.
(These type of knife is also used in JNA.)
