Interesting combination

Hi guys,just found this interesting combination with shortened german dagger to make a fighting knife and WW2 scabbard from French "Chantier de Jeunesse"...Surely used by French partisan or soldier from French "Armée de Liberation"....Or worn by german soldier who knows for sure ?
